Will Sternlicht

Venture Fellow

Will  is a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor focused on startups driving innovation for the built environment. Specifically, Will is focused today on tackling America’s housing shortage. Notable investments include Esusu, Blank Street Coffee, and Nav Talent (acquired by Human Capital).

A recent alumni of Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, Will served as a campus fellow for NFX, the world’s largest seed fund, and established HBS’s largest open source entrepreneurship network: HBSBuilds. He served on the founding team of Pulley, a seed stage startup disrupting the process of obtaining building permits after working in the Public Housing Development Department for Miami-Dade County where he also advised Mayor Suarez on Venture Miami, the City of Miami’s entrepreneurship program.

Before Graduate School, Will worked with SH Hotels and Resorts to launch an outdoor hospitality concept (which has evolved into the new Field and Stream Brand) and led the development of Capital-as-a-Service at Social Capital (where he invested in more than 50 companies across 20 countries). While attending Stanford University, Will co-founded With (now Tikkit), a mobile first event platform meant to reduce the barriers to bringing friends together.

Outside of work, Will enjoys hiking, skiing, listening to podcasts, and is currently trying to convince himself to train for a marathon.
